Werner Hoffmeyer has been working as a freelance consultant and trainer in the areas of lean manufacturing, organizational and HR development since 2005. He is the co-founder of STRATEGIO. Hoffmeyer. Winther. Consulting.
Prior to his freelance consulting activities Werner Hoffmeyer held the position of HR management director at Opel Bochum (GM Europe). While there, he was responsible for HR development, vocational training, organizational and training development, the improvement suggestions system, idea management, workplace health promotion as well as for implementing a new production system.
Through research at Toyota and GM plants as well as through cooperation with the Kaizen-Institute Düsseldorf Werner Hoffmeyer became a certified lean production expert. He was instrumental for introducing lean manufacturing at the Bochum plant.
Before joining GM, Werner Hoffmeyer worked in the clinical department of a counselling center in Düsseldorf for 10 years. During this time he received his certification as a behavioral and family therapist, systemic counsellor and industrial and organizational psychologist.
Werner Hoffmeyer has given many lectures as a guest professor of HR at various German colleges. He holds a masters degree in psychology from the University of Frankfurt and is known for his thorough knowledge and vastly successful experience as an HR specialist.
