Born in 1958
Klaus Philippsen has been working as a freelance consultant and trainer since 2005. Before joining the STRATEGIO team he worked as a superintendent and foreman at Opel Bochum for many years. As such he gained vast experience in many different departments, such as manufacturing, final assembly, press shop and maintenance.
His many responsibilities at the GM plant included introducing group work, CIP activities, workshops and trainings as well as defining the role of the foreman in the Opel production system.
Through internal trainings and benchmark projects at various car factories (Eisenach, Volvo and Saab in Sweden, Ford in Belgium) he became an expert for tool change, TPM, work organization and lean production systems.
Klaus Philippsen is a certified electrical installations expert, as well as a certified electrical engineering technician with a specialization in energy technology.

- introducing, supervising and implementing CIP activities

- auditing production systems
- training and coaching internal CIP experts
